Engineering Services

We provide clients with product engineering capability which includes product design and validation, product reliability planning and evaluation, finite element analysis, DFMEA development and IMDS management.  Equally important are services relative to competitive patent searches, patent application and submission activities essential to the client’s intellectual property protection.

Services are also available relative to manufacturing engineering needs.  These include process/lean engineering, mechanical equipment & fixture design, PLC and shop floor report programming, work place health and safety requirements and PFMEA development.  Clients also have access to our industrial engineering capabilities which include plant floor layout, motion study and labour routing development, as well as incoming and plant material flow studies and component containerization analysis.

The latest CAD software (i.e. Solidworks, AutoCAD, UG, and Catia) are used depending on the requirements of the client.  Wellington Partners also has the capability relative to the development of detail feasibility and cost analysis studies in support of financial justification activities.

Wellington Partners also has specialized expertise regarding noise and vibration analysis.  Evaluations and design solutions are generated by our skilled consultants relative to product development activities and noise control enclosure requirements.

Quality Management Services

We retain individuals who are experts in Lean/Six Sigma and have extensive experience in the training and implementation of 5s shop floor and Six Sigma programs. Wellington Partners also has trained personnel who can assume project management requirements, product launch, and supplier development and mitigation activities. Our consultants are trained in the use of key tools including 8D root cause analysis to resolve complex manufacturing and product problems. We can manage day to day quality requirements and the PPAP process for incoming supplier components and outgoing client-produced product.  Advanced Project Quality Planning and black belt techniques are deliverables that clients expect.
