| Our client is an established systems integrator providing automation solutions to a variety of clients and industries. In order to continue their growth they are seeking an experienced business development professional to build effective relationships with new and existing clients across Canada and the U.S. Your role will include prospecting for sales leads, identifying the needs of prospective customers, developing proposals, conducting sales presentations, relationship building, negotiations and of course closing the sale. The successful candidates will hold an engineering degree or diploma along with 7-10 years of industry experience in the automation field. Candidates must have a solid track record of success in sales with a systems integrator, or control equipment distributor with a strong understanding of its application in industries such as waste water, food and beverage, mining, etc. This position will involve regular travel to meet with clients. |

| Our client is seeking an experienced Inside / Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of customer service, acting as the primary contact with customers regarding lead times, order commitments, demand outlook and shipment scheduling. You will maintain the lines of communication with the sales team regarding customer activities and issues. In addition, you will handle order management, entry and maintenance, allocation and pick list management and load tracking. As well as have responsibility for, freight management: schedule carriers, customs paperwork, rate negotiation and rate table maintenance. Will work with the shipping, planning and scheduling teams to maximize customer service levels within overall constraints. Candidates must be experienced with high volume order processing and shipping environments within make to stock / make to order production organizations. Strong communication skills and long term customer relationship building abilities are essential. Candidates will have a degree / diploma in a related field and CPIM / CSCP would be an asset. To be considered for this opportunity candidates must be well versed with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems. Individuals possessing in-depth computer systems education / experience will be given additional consideration. Bilingual (French) language / writing skills would also be an asset. |
