Key Responsibilities:
Manage a full lifecycle recruiting desk (client development and recruiting).
Confer with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
Ensure appropriate client engagement documentation is in place.
Prepare detailed search assignments while ensuring a complete understanding of job duties. responsibilities and client business requirements.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, community/professional organizations as well as internal/external team members to create partnerships that yield success.
Establish and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates for opportunities and develop new clients.
Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to client position requirements.
Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house database to source, identify and recruit top level candidates.
Pre-screen candidates utilizing phone and face-to-face interviewing techniques that include both skill and behavioural/situational based interviewing strategies.
Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about clients and positions.
Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and clients.
Follow-up with candidates and clients for post interview debriefing and feedback.
Perform detailed reference checking on selected candidate and review with client hiring managers.
Involved in managing the negotiation and presentation of offers including candidate final sign-offs.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all search activity, including candidate and client interactions.
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive with current and emerging recruiting practices.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in full lifecycle recruiting with emphasis on recruiting for middle to senior level assignments in a broad range of industries.
Human Resources Degree/Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
Excellent business development and project management abilities are essential.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to handle sensitive/confidential situations and information.
Sound judgement and decision making abilities.
Must be internet savvy and experienced at mining both online and internal databases.
Proficiency working with the Microsoft Office Suite, Email and related computer programs.
Ability to travel as required. |
