| Our client is a custom manufacturer looking for a hands-on VP of Finance to oversee the entire financial matters of this division of a US Parent Co. You will supervise several team members and report to multiple executives. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash management, external auditors, government related agencies, banking, as well as fund investment management. Successful candidates must possess a recognized Accounting Designation (CMA, CGA, CA), with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in general and cost accounting, working experience in a custom manufacturing environment which includes job costing; strong ERP experience and an ability to communicate and work effectively within all levels of the organization. US reporting experience would be beneficial.

In this role, you will have full financial responsibility for multiple divisions across Canada, the US and Asia. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, risk management, auditing, treasury and costing. Your position will include significant decision making responsibilities, the challenges of working internationally and the opportunity for advancement. Your expertise will be requested to help with improvement initiatives in various aspects of the business. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing, along with a designation (CMA, CGA, CA), strong leadership and communication skills. |
