Our client, a busy Tier I automotive parts supplier to both the big 3 and Japanese automakers is searching for an experienced afternoon shift supervisor to work their 3-11 shift. As Production Supervisor you will report to a Production Manager in this non-union facility of over 200 staff and have anywhere from 30-40 , primarily female front line staff reporting to you. Only candidates coming from the automotive industry need apply to this role as our client is looking for supervisors with a strong sense of urgency that comes when supplying OEM's. As Supervisor you will be expected to initiate actions to prevent non-conformances, identify problems with product or process's and provide solutions through the appropriate channels.

Our client, a world class manufacturer, is seeking a strong supervisor who holds their 3rd Class Stationary Engineering ticket for their operation in Southern Ontario. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to employees in day to day achievement of goals; direct resources to achieve production and maintenance plans, and, have overall site responsibility. Specific skills and experience required are: knowledge of utility distribution systems; 3rd Class Stationary Engineering Ticket; exposure to hydrocarbon or chemical manufacturing processes; strong leadership and supervisory skills; excellent coaching/counseling skills. Three weeks vacation, one paid day off per month + 5 paid days off at Christmas.

Production Supervisor (Melt Shop) 3475MS
East GTA, ON Salary is Commensurate with Experience
A heavy manufacturing client in the Whitby area is currently looking for a Production Shift Supervisor for this unionized environment. This individual will have full shift responsibility for 20 hourly employees with respect to safety, labour relations, chemistry, quality, performance and production within a high volume environment. This includes effective and efficient use of manpower and materials producing the optimum amount of quality product for the least possible cost, diagnosis and solution of breakdown problems, filling out shift logs and reports, and directing and training personnel in the operational procedures. This individual will have considerable latitude in the operation of the shift. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the steel/melt shop background. The incumbent must also be willing to work continental shifts.

Junior Materials / Production Coordinator – Wood Products 3505TM
Southwestern, ON $30,000 - $45,000
Acting as a liaison between sales and production, the Production Coordinator will be responsible for the reviewing, planning and monitoring all orders from receipt of CRF (Customer Request Form) through to product delivery. The successful candidate must have an ability to read blueprints, CAD Drawings and Bill of Materials; as well as, have knowledge of or past history dealing with fixtures. A community college graduate in woodworking and/or architectural design would be an asset. Individual must be proficient in Windows, MS-Office (with demonstrated experience in Excel and Word) and MS Outlook.
