| Our client is seeking an experienced Production Engineering Specialist. This role will be responsible for determining requirements for equipment, processes and products, as well as capacity of new and existing production lines. You will utilize engineering practices and principles to optimize process parameters including: cycle time reduction, line balancing, error proofing and other tools of Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) is required to identify and initiate opportunities for process improvements. The successful candidate will determine requirements and modifications required to equipment for process changes and engineering changes. You will also develop concepts and formalize them to the point that suppliers can bid and complete design of both new and existing equipment. You will have responsibility for preparation of cost reduction proposals on production and maintenance consumables. As well, you will produce detailed drawings and documents for various installations using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Successful candidates will have a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing engineering experience preferably gained within an automotive manufacturing environment. Superior communication, interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to perform in team driven environments is essential for success in this role. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD and SolidWorks are required. |

| Moulding Engineer |

| Our client is seeking an experienced Moulding Engineer. In this role you will plan and procure equipment and tooling for installation applicable to the injection moulding process. Support production departments in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues relating to injection moulding and its related process. Participate in Kaizen improvement for cost reduction and improved quality performance. Maintain and improve process capability and documentation (Control Plan, PFMEA, etc.) to ensure ongoing conformance with ISO/TS16949 requirements. You must have full working knowledge and ability to maintain APQP documentation, Process Flow, PFMEA, control plan and PM schedules. As well as, be able to perform, analyze, and improve machine and process capability. Knowledge of robots and end of arm tooling used in the injection moulding process is essential, as is experience with oversight of new mould/tooling projection, from purchasing to implementation. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in developing/creating new moulding process equipment specifications and possess strong knowledge of injection mould design and fabrication. The successful candidate will possess a College Diploma and/or University Degree and C.E.T or P.Eng designation. Must have excellent analytical and problem solving abilities along with superior communication skills. Strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office applications and a high degree of competence with AutoCAD, UG, Catia and MasterCAM is required. Must be able to travel to the USA and internationally as required. |

| Our client is seeking a junior process engineer to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for keeping abreast of production / quality issues and equipment at other production facilities producing products in the same production group. The successful candidate will have responsibility for troubleshooting production and quality issues in every processing stage. You will manage projects primarily involving the assigned product group but also taking on additional projects in other areas as workload permits. Projects include: machine modifications, processing parameter changes, purchasing / installing new equipment, and operator training. In addition you will lead continuous improvement projects throughout the plant utilizing Lean / Six Sigma tools and skills. You will liaise closely with the Sales and R&D personnel responsible for the assigned product group. This role is responsible to modify equipment to better accommodate new products, visit customers to gain an understanding of critical products characteristics and take customer feedback to the plant to implement required improvements. This will require you to get involved with R&D projects for new products during all stages of the manufacturing cycle as well as review processing parameters and special setup requirements. To be considered for this opportunities candidates require an undergraduate in Engineering combined with exposure to process chemistry manufacturing, materials sciences and applications engineering. Strong communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, SolidWorks and AutoCAD) are essential for success in this role. |
